Children are a joy

A conversation between me and the daughter:

Daughter: "Mommy, how old were you when you and Daddy met?"

Me: "18."

Daughter: "How old was Daddy?"

Me: "23."

Daughter: (shocked) "So you were a teenager and he was an adult?!"

Me: (wondering where this is going) "Um, technically."

(Long, thoughtful pause)

Daughter: "They didn't have the Maury Show back then, did they?"
