Me and some friends went to Tekkoshocon, a Japanese Anime convention, in Pittsburgh on Saturday ( after a night of killing zombies ) and basically went there to spend money. It cost $40 to just get in the door, and then we proceeded in combining to spend at what seemed to be around $250-300. Granted me and my pal scott did at least two-thirds of that ourselves. People dress up as their favorite characters from just about anything. We seen Mario, Yuna (final fantasy X), Blade (the Wesley Snipes kind), Sally (Nightmare before Xmas) upon many others. The most shocking part, outside of $4 candy bars and $6 drinks was that we actually found a payphone downtown. I had no idea that these still existed outside of this area. Sunday consisted of me just laying around wondering why I walked around for 10 hours and waiting on Wrestlemania 25 to start up. Pure and simple, it was grand. Although I would've loved to see Undertaker's streak end by HBK's hands, it was some great entertainment.
