Randon road thoughts

June 24, 2008 - Mike Mathison
know it can't be just me, but who else is tired of the road work on 22?

Didn't we just go through this a year ago? And, since we did, why is it taking so long this time around?

And, do we have to go through it again next year?

Is it really that hard to merge onto oncoming traffic? Some places look like there's a red light there.

When you are going up Lovers Lane from 22 and you are the first car at the light, planning to go straight on Lovers Lane, please pull forward and stay left so the car right behind you who wants to turn right on the red light, can do so!

That is appreciated.

Why is it that people who smoke continually throw their cigarette butts out the window? Are your ash trays that full?

Why is it that blinkers on some cars don't work? Or is it that the driver is too lazy to actually work that part of the car?

Your blinker tells me your goal and I don't have to guess.

Why is it that people barely stop at a red light, or a stop sign, to turn right to get in front of us and then proceed to go 15 in a 35? If you're going to break one law, please break another by speeding in front of me so I don't have to wait on you.
