STEUBENVILLE — Branko Busick had a good work ethic before he stepped foot in the Big Red Fieldhouse or onto the turf at Harding Stadium. That was instilled by his father, Nick, and observed by watching his brother, Robert, as a member of the Weir High 1998 state championship football team. So, when Busick transferred from the Red Riders to Big Red after his freshman year, he wasn’t daunted at what stood before him. The three-year starter at middle linebacker for Steubenville and coach Reno Saccoccia is ready to make a final statement before he heads down to Morgantown to play for West Virginia University, where he gave a verbal commitment in May. “I was very, very lucky to have good friends and family,” Busick said about the work ethic instilled in him. “My dad has helped me out since I was little, getting on me and stuff.
