City says intersection unsafe

Marsh infers that older drivers contribute to the accidents, which is wrong. The close calls that I personally had driving in this area were due to younger drivers not paying attention. As a matter of fact a city official driving a white Hummer cut me off in traffic the other day in that very spot. He swerved from the center lane to my lane in order to take the exit to downtown. I wonder how long this problem would have gone un-addressed by council had it not been for a family member of a council member involved in the latest accident.
