Mr. Romage, you were lied to by the City Water Department Manager. Given the state of the town's infrastructure, do you really believe that an operational sensor and monitoring system, and ability to transfer water intake from river to well actually exists or works? ********. Weirton's Water Department doesn't even know where all waste and storm water systems are, let alone have any advanced sensor systems.

Don't take their word Mr. Romage Demand that an outside independent expert come in to assess the situation.

You won't get that however. Weirton City Government will never allow themselves to be exposed for bold faced lying to the citizens that they supposedly work for.

Ever wonder why all actual business discussions are "Closed Session" during City Council Meetings? None of them what to be exposed for their actual intelligence, standards, or integrity. If the people of Weirton actually knew what was going on, they would be appalled.

Great Questions Mr. Romage, but I seriously doubt Weirton has properly functioning sensors in the river, especially being that there are no communications on most of the river. Additional I would ask when was the aquifer last tested and when was the switchover equipment last exercised? Remember the River was brought online because the aquifers were polluted. Based on the monthly water boil orders and yearly water outages, I seriously doubt that they could make a successful change over. Need to keep asking questions and ask for validation
