So “phony fear monger science”, really? My information comes from the AMA and common sense in general. Too many crackpots out there that twist information around to serve their own needs and it appears that’s the case here. So be really careful about what you call phony fear monger science. If you don’t think smoking or second hand are harmful and deadly then I’ll put you in touch with numerous people having to go through life with only one lung. The only impact NOT smoking will have in Hancock County is revenues and jobs will increase.

Tom, While I appreciate your view, it is based on phony fear monger science. THERE IS NO EVIDENCE THAT 2nd HAND SMOKE creates enough harm to allow the government into private business decisions. Next someone who is allergic to peanuts will be pushing to outlaw all peanut related products from restaurants and candy stores, groceries stores - its all a scam - and will have not impact of fresh air - you want fresh air? you need to address the industrial air quality issues - second hand smoke on golf courses is not the main threat in the air quality of the region - its all a scam, and there are studies that prove its a scam.
