Hammerhead - you need a new job being your boss cant read. Regardless everyone with more than 2 brain cells knows a B&O is the most anti - business a community can get. The city leaders didnt reach concensus, they shirked their responsibilities in making tough decisions for years, not they hit the wall and want everyone to think others made this decision. Why the heck do we pay a city manager and finance director and others if the community and non-profits have to tell them how to run the city finances.

I'm still paying my 2 bucks a week and now hopefully 40 bucks a year. I'm paying my dues no matter what happens so the chamber wants me to pay 75 dollars or more and 3 or more dollars a week for inflation, plus a higher cable bill while I struggle to make ends meet with no raise in pay for inflation and they drive their BMW's and Corvettes to golf at the county club and live high and mighty?? I call BS!!!!!!

I'm angry because my boss handed me a letter from the chamber and Brenda Mull that says I will lose my job if there is a B&O passed. It took me 5 minutes to dig around on this paper tonight to see that my job will not be affected due to the $500 grand credit that my boss gets. I should get a raise because he is going to SAVE money if this passes. When I showed him what I found he was stunned. He had no idea!!! The chamber is scaring people with half-thruths and outright lies. There's plenty of arcticles in this paper that PROVE IT. Shameful!!!! Check it out for yourselves!!!

This article states that the small businesses are actually being protected in retail since NO B&O TAX WHATSOEVER is going to be collected on ANY RETAIL BUSINESS that makes less than $500,000 A YEAR and actually SAVES SMALL BUSINESSES by REDUCING their police and fire fee. So the other article says the tax burdens small business and their employees??? Reads like the small businesses and their employees are being spared of any new taxes, in fact it lowers them. Read the article. It's right there in black and white. I call BS on Brenda Mull and what she says in the other article. Sounds to me like her members need to ask her why she's not telling the whole truth. Fearmongering is not good for business Brenda
