A support group for people with disabilities and their family, friends and caretakers will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the New Manchester fire hall.
Future meetings will be held from 6 yo 8 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month.

Church hosts Mother’s Day dinner
The Follansbee United Methodist Church is hosting a Mother’s Day Dinner from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
Menu includes spaghetti and meatball, salad, bread, beverage and dessert. Cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 6. Dine in and take out is available.

Summer advocate training set
The Upper Ohio Valley Sexual Assault Help Center, a United Way Agency, will be holding a 30-hour training class for new volunteer advocates.
Volunteer advocates help to cover the 24-hour victim hotline as well as give support to a victim in medical, legal and court settings.
If you are over 18, have access to a car and a telephone and have 12 hours a month to give to help those who have been affected by sexual violence, call Brenda Steiniger at (304)?234-1783 for an application and information.
4-H to hold yard sale Saturday
The Brooke County 4-H will hold a yard sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at the former convenient store at 22nd St. and state Route 2.
All proceeds will benefit the Brooke County 4-H Camp. In the event of rain, the event will be held at the same time on May 17.
Frankfort grange sets fundraiser
Frankfort Springs Grange No. 1989 will be holding a fundraising flea market from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at the grange hall on Pa. state Route 18, four miles north of U.S. Route 22 from the Burgettstown exit.
