Robert D. Hall Sr.

HALL, Robert D., Sr., 73, of Weirton, W.Va., passed away Monday, May 5, 2008, in Trinity West, Steubenvile, Ohio.

He was born April 17, 1935, in Wallace, W.Va., a son of the late Charles E. and Myrtle (Holbert) Hall.

Robert retired from the City of Weirton as a truck driver and was an Army veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Pauline (Lafferty) Hall; four brothers, Leroy, Harold, Burl and Charles Hall Jr.; three sisters, Audrey Shields, Mildred Row and Madilyn Walker; two half-brothers, Wayman and Bernard Hall; and one half-sister, Ruby Shields.

Surviving are one son, Robert D. Hall Jr., Weirton; one daughter, Kathy Six, Weirton; one brother, Dennis Hall, Meadowbrook, W.Va.; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren

Friends will be received Thursday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the Turley Funeral Hom, with services Friday, May 9, 2008, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Marvin Taylor officiating.

Graveside services will follow in Plainfield Cemetery, West Lafayette, Ohio.
