FSCC?offers workshop on managing money
Family Service Credit Counseling is providing a workshop entitled “You Can Do It! FSCC?Will Help.”
You ask the question: “Do What?” The answer is to learn how to manage your money and be a saver.
We are living during a period where most people are concerned about how they spent their money. With the rising cost of gasoline and food and just about everything else, this workshop will assist participants in money management skills
This workshop will be offered from 1 to 4 p.m. on Friday, May 23 in the HRC?Building, Second Floor, 51 Eleventh St. in Wheeling. Registration will be open until May 19. Free parking will be available for those who register and the workshop is free to the public; however, donations will be accepted as this will allow FSCC?to offer more educational presentations to the community.
Attendees will learn how to set up and maintain a budget, prepare for unexpected expenses, handle financial emergencies and develop a record-keeping system. Another result will be leaving with the knowledge of how to become a saver and feel more positive about the ability to save.
Family Service Credit Counseling, a division of Family Service of the Upper Ohio Valley, has been supplying financial education to the community since 1975 and Family Service UOV began in 1909.
