M. Oblockovich, L. Spencer

MINGO JUNCTION — Russ Oblockovich of Mingo Junction and Karen Pratt of Follansbee announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Michelle Oblockovich, to Luke Spencer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Spencer of Hammondsville.

The bride-to-be is a 2000 graduate of Indian Creek High School and a 2004 graduate of West Liberty State College. She is employed by the Herald-Star as an advertising consultant.

Her fiance is a 1998 graduate of Edison High School. From 1999-2002 he wrestled All-Army while stationed in Fort Carson, Colo., as a 12B combat engineer. He is the owner of Gym City Fitness Center/MMA Gladiator Fighting Team in Toronto.

They plan to be married Aug. 23 at the Serbian Cultural Center in Weirton.
