Hughes — Eckels

WEIRTON — Mr. and Mrs. Jason Eckels are making their home in Maineville, Ohio, following their Oct. 13, 2007, wedding at St. Margaret of Scotland Church in Greentree, Pa. The 2 p.m. ceremony was celebrated by the Rev. Francis Murhammer. The bride, Angela Hughes, daughter of Dale and Loraine Hughes of Allison Park, Pa., was escorted to the altar by her father. She chose a designer A-line style gown of crushed taffeta and lace with a V-neckline and tank style straps. The groom is the son of Duncan and Mary Ann Eckels of Weirton. Anita Hughes served as her sister’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Erin Black, Sara Silvestri and Kelly Bolden, all of Pittsburgh. Aaron Javorsky of Columbus served as best man. Ushers were Jeff Hughes of Glen Burnie, Md., brother of the bride; Craig Brammer of New Cumberland; and Mike Mills of Frederick, Md. Following their reception at the Holiday Inn in Greentree, the couple honeymooned in Jamaica. The bride holds a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from Allegheny College. She is employed by Alkermes. The groom holds a bachelor of science in microbiology from West Liberty State College and is employed by Barr Laboratories.
