'A Voice & A Vision for Downtown'

The Downtown Business & Civic Association and the Weirton Area Chamber of Commerce will co-host a "Legislative Luncheon" at noon on Nov. 6 in the Rose Roomof the Weirton Millsop Community Center.

This event, which is planned to be held annually, will provide the business community, government officials and citizens with a unique opportunity to sit down and meet with the state senators and delegates from Hancock and Brooke counties over lunch in an informal setting to discuss economic and development issues important to our area and businesses.

The legislative agenda for the upcoming session also will be discussed. The discussion will be followed by questions and answers period.

The public is invited to attend. Admission, which includes lunch, is $7 at the door or $5 if a reservation is made before Nov. 3.
