Byrd's constituent services to visit region

WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Senator Robert C. Byrd, D-W.Va., announced that members of his staff will hold mobile office hours for West Virginians with federally related problems or questions.

"Responding to the needs of West Virginians has always been my top priority," Byrd said. "I pride myself in my ability to cut through red tape and help West Virginians with problems or concerns that they may have about the federal government."

"By bringing my staff to the local community, I hope that we can answer questions and provide the assistance that people need," Byrd stated.

Byrd said that members of his staff will be in the following locations:

June 30, 2009

9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Pleasants Senior Nutrition, 219 2nd St., Christian Outreach Center, St. Marys

noon to 1 p.m. Tyler Senior Center, 504 Cherry St., Middlebourne

July 1, 2009

9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wetzel Senior Center, 145 Paducah Drive, New Martinsville

11 a.m. to noon Marshall Senior Center, 805 5th St., Moundsville

12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. M.J. Viola Senior Center, HRC Building, 51 11th St., Wheeling
