Olga Bonner
BONNER, Olga, 76, a resident of Weirton, W.Va., since 1991 and formerly of Hanlin Station in Burgettstown, died on Tuesday evening, June 23, 2009, in Weirton Geriatrics Center.
She was born September 9, 1932, in Heidelberg, a daughter of the late Metro and Anna Semanick.
Mrs. Bonner was a Presbyterian by faith.
She enjoyed playing cards especially euchre, bowling and polka dancing.
On June 11, 1954, she married Stewart “Bud” Bonner, who died September 26, 1991.
Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are her great-grandson, Ryan Hoover; her sister, Ann Kargle; and two brothers, George and John Semanick.
She is survived by one son, Stewart “Lew” Bonner and his wife, Renee of Weirton; three daughters, Terry Reid and her husband, Jerry of Weirton; Cathy Glandon and her husband, James of Burgettstown; and Rhonda Bonner of Weirton; six grandchildren, Wiletta Reid Hoover and husband, Kevin, Jennifer Bonner, Joseph Bonner and wife, Shelby, Natalie Reid Miller and husband, Michael, Chelsey Brown and Jason Glandon; five great-grandchildren, Reid, Reagan and Rayna Hoover, Jacob and Jackson Bonner; three sisters, Annette Nardulli of Mt. Lebanon, Stella Rance of Ambridge, and Mary Semanick of California State; one brother, Joseph Semanick of Bridgeville; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday in the Lee & Martin Funeral Home, 73 Highland Ave., Burgettstown, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2009, with the Rev. Christina Hosler, Pastor of the Paris Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Paris Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mrs. Bonner’s memory to the Paris Presbyterian Church, 127 Steubenville Pike, Burgettstown, PA 15021.
