Konczal — Purviance
WINTERSVILLE — Kara Nicole Konczal and Matthew James Purviance were married May 16 during a 3:30 p.m. ceremony at the Wintersville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Clint Quillen officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Michele Konczal of Colliers.
The groom is the son of Jim and Michele Purviance of Wintersville.
The bride was escorted to the altar and given in marriage by her father. She wore a white gown with a beaded bodice and carried a bouquet of white roses.
Kayla Costlow of Mingo Junction was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miranda Konczal and Tori Konczal, sisters of the bride, both of Colliers; Amber Ankrom of Toronto, sister of the groom; Angela Gregory of Weirton and Brandi Hascak of Wellsburg.
Savanna Ankrom of Toronto, niece of the groom, was flower girl.
Jason Hibbits of Island Creek Township was best man. Groomsmen were Joe Reed, Jason DiBenedetto and Jim Daily, all of Wintersville; Mike Daily and Craig Miller, uncle of the bride, both of Weirton.
Eli Timmins of Wellsburg was ring bearer.
Following a reception at the St. Florian Hall, the couple honeymooned in Negril, Jamaica.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Brooke High School and a 2008 graduate of West Liberty State College with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She works as an auditor for Seachrist, Kennon & Marling, A.C. in Wheeling.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Indian Creek High School. He is a conductor with Norfolk Southern in Mingo Junction.
The couple are making a home in Steubenville.
