John Joseph Jaskierny

JASKIERNY, John Joseph, 84, formerly of Dillonvale, Ohio, died Saturday August 15, 2009, in Trinity, Fla.

John was born in Warnock, Ohio, on October 24, 1924, a son of the late Andrew and Nellie Novak Jaskierny.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Davis and a son-in-law, Tino Agostini.

John was the owner founder of Jaskierny Auto Body, Dillonvale; co- owner of 250 Auto Wrecking, Harrisville and Stateside Auto in Steubenville, Ohio; a member of the Dillonvale American Legion McCook Post 529; a member of the Dillonvale Mt. Pleasant Lions Club; former member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church, and a U.S. Navy Veteran.

John is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Juanita Duda Jaskierny; three daughters, Leslie Jaskierny (Chris Sideris) of Scottsdale, Ariz., Lynn Arritt (Jim) of St. Clairsville, and Loran Pellegrino of Alpharetta, Ga., two grandchildren, Audra Agostini and Andrew Pellegrino.

Friends will be received Saturday August 29, 2009, from 10 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Adalbert Catholic Church, Dillonvale, with Monsignor John C. Kolesar, officiating.

Inturnment will be held privately in Holly Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Adalbert Catholic Church, Dillonvale.
