Reunion, 'Back to Church Sunday' announced

On Sunday the First Christian Church, located at 3252 Main St. in Weirton, will hold "Back to Church Sunday."

During the 10:45 a.m. morning worship service there will be a reunion of youth group members from the 1960's. If you were a member of First Christian's youth group during that time you are encouraged to attend. The church will be collecting photographs and memories of the time to be placed on the church's Web site at www.weirtondisciples.org. Submissions can be brought to the church, or sent by e-mail to fccweirton@verizon.net.

The Rev. Kevin Bowers will preach the sermon "Come Before Winter," a message which his father heard in the 1930's and preached every year of his 50-plus-year ministry. Bowers carries on that tradition.

Following worship, a turkey dinner will be served. Tables will be reserved for the 1960's reunion participants.

The community is invited. Call (304) 797-7300 for information.
