Ruby E. Frey

FREY, Ruby E., 88, of Bloomingdale, Ohio, died Wednesday, October 7, 2009, in Gables Care Center.

She was born May 23, 1921, in Grantsville, W.Va., a daughter of the late Levi P. and Myrtle Mae Nichols Starcher.

She was a member of Christian Church of Unionport.

Preceding Ruby in death were her husband, William E. "Bus" Frey on December 5, 2003; son, David William Frey; four brothers, Thurl, Cecil, Rex and Ottie Starcher; and three sisters, Vinnie Julian, Vera Nester and Ora Burkhead.

Surviving are her sons, Ervin E. "Gene" (Betty) Frey of Bloomingdale, Gary E. (Karen) Frey of Lakeland, Fla. and Terry L. (JoAnn) Frey of Bainbridge, Ohio; ten grand children; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and one brother Orbrey (Lee) Starcher of Carlisle, Pa.

Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Friday where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Hubert Granger officiating.
