Mr. and Mrs. Stan Coulter

WELLSBURG - Stan and Joyce Coulter of Wellsburg celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to California, Oregon and Utah. A reception was held Saturday at Weirton Heights Church of Christ.

They were married Oct. 25, 1959, in Wheeling, with the Rev. Carl Matheny officiating.

She is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sylva Dickson. She was employed 26 years with the Brooke County Board of Education as a kindergarten aide. She also worked for two years as a licensed practical nurse at Ohio Valley Hospital.

He is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ward Coulter. He was employed for 35 years with Weirton Steel Corp. and had served as the Beech Bottom fire chief for 13 years.

They have one son, Roger, of Wellsburg, and there are two grandchildren.
