Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth McKitrick
LAWRENCEBURG, Ind. — Kenneth Sr. and Dolores Elizabeth “Liz” McKitrick of Lawrenceburg, formerly of Beech Bottom, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Friday. The couple are planning a family trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
They were married on Oct. 23, 1959, at the home of Clayton and Mary Ruth Ramsey in Wellsburg, with the Rev. Charles R. Wolf officiating.
He is the son of the late Henry A. and Elizabeth McKitrick and is retired from AEP.
She is the daughter of the late William T. and Mabel Elliott and is employed by the Indiana Adult Education Lawrenceburg Campus as a teacher’s aide.
The couple have two sons, Kenneth of Lawrenceburg and Thom of Columbus. There is one granddaughter.
