RASCAL low-cost animal program available at Jefferson County Airpark

On Saturday and Sunday the Brooke County Animal Welfare League of Wellsburg is sponsoring the RASCAL Unit, a low-cost mobile spay and neuter program at the Jefferson County Airpark in Wintersville.

The event is hosted by EAA Chapter 859.

The response from pet owners has been tremendous and all surgical appointments for spays and neuters have been filled.

The program provides low-cost vaccines for your pets. In addition to vaccines, flea and worming medication is available, along with micro-chipping and more.

If your pet is in need of any of these services, they can all be performed on both Saturday and Sunday between noon and 3 p.m.

Cats must be in carriers and dogs on a leash. Services are provided on a cash only basis.
