FOLLANSBEE — Stephanie Marie Cox and Justin Andrew Swiger were united in marriage at 2 p.m. June 27 at Hooverson Heights Church of Christ with the Rev. Norm Eckert officiating. The bride is the daughter of Steve and Patty Cox of Weirton. Given in marriage by her father and her brother, Kevin Cox of Weirton, the bride wore an empire halter satin gown. She carried a bouquet of red and white satin roses and satin calla lilies. The bride’s mother was matron of honor. Trudy Swiger of New Cumberland, sister-in-law of the groom, and Amy Kinder of Follansbee, cousin of the bride, were bridesmaids. Adam Swiger served as his brother’s best man. Ushers were Bill Ware, Shawn Ware and Cody Stewart of New Cumberland. Kattie Zurfley and Lonna Wright of Follansbee, cousins of the bride, were flower girl and ring bearer, respectively. After a reception held at the St. Francis Centre, the couple honeymooned in Virginia Beach, Va. The bride is a 1999 graduate of Weir High School. The groom is a 2002 graduate of Oak Glen High School and is employed as a coal miner for Consol Energy. The couple live in West Finley, Pa.
