DeLONG, Sharon K., 52, of Weirton, W.Va., died Wednesday, October 28, 2009, in Valley Hospice Care Center South, Liza’s Place, Wheeling. She was born November 2, 1956, in Washington, Pa., a daughter of the late Charles and Norma Alloway Smith. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James M. DeLong, who died on June 4, 2008; a brother, Richard Smith; a nephew, Duane Smith. She is survived by one son, Michael DeLong, of Weirton; two step-sons, Jacob DeLong of Peyton, Colo., and Josh DeLong of Hookstown, Pa; two brothers, Charles (Kathy) Smith of Hookstown and Don (Linda) Smith of Weirton; one sister, Serenna (Kevin) Young of Fombell, Pa. Visitation Sunday 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. at Steel and Wolfe Funeral Home, 3721 Main St., Weirton, with services at 10:30 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Dana Snodgrass officiating.
