Mary E. Mansfield Parks

PARKS, Mary E. Mansfield, 88, of Bloomingdale, Ohio, died Wednesday, October 28, 2009, in Largo, Fla. with family by her side.

She was born January 7, 1921, in Bloomingdale, a daughter of the late Ellsworth and Pearl Roush Mansfield.

She was a member of Bloomingdale U.M. Church and Unionport Chapter Order of Eastern Star 360.

Mary was a graduate of Ohio State University and a member of Phi Mu Sorority.

Mary was a retired physical education teacher for Wayne Elementary, Indian Creek School District.

Preceding Mary in death were her husband, Harold R. "Buzz" Parks; sister, Doris Evans; brothers, Richard, Carl and William Mansfield.

Surviving are her son, Denny (Sandy) Parks of Largo; two grandchildren, Jeff (Susan) Parks and Becky (Erin) Huffman; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dana (Arjanta) Mansfield of Bloomingdale and Dean (Gerry) Mansfield of Hopedale.

Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home on Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., where services will be held 12:30 p.m. Wednesday with the Revs. Debra Keller and Ed Gardner officiating.

Burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
