BROOKES, Thomas W., Sr., 86, of Dillonvale, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2009. A son of the late John and Annie Treadwell Brookes, he was born in England on April 15, 1923. A Christian by faith, he had resided in Ohio for the past 16 years and was formerly of Fairhope (Belle Vernon, Pa.). He retired from the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Company and was a World War II veteran in the U.S. Army. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas W., Jr. and Patricia Brookes, with whom he made his home in Dillonvale, Rev. Jack and Lori Feick of Mt. Pleasant, Pa., and Roy and Kathy Feick of Monongahela, Pa., one brother, Morris Brookes of Warren, Ohio, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Coletta Roberts Brookes in 1993, one son, Lawrence Feick and one grandson, Roy Feick, Jr. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-7 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon, PA, (724-929- 5300) Funeral services will be in the funeral home Thursday at 10 a.m. with Rev.
