Kenneth F. Hawkins

HAWKINS, Kenneth F., 62, of Steubenville, Ohio, passed away October 31, 2009, at his residence.

He was born on November 8, 1946, in Steubenville to the late Duncan Charles Hawkins amd Bernice (Wooden) Hawkins Toson

He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Kenneth worked and retired from Weirton Steel. He was a Vietnam Era Veteran and served in the Marin Corp. He was a member of the local DAV, American Legion and the Tri State Marine Corps Club, Inc. He was a graduate of Steubenville High School and later he attended The College of Steubenville.

He was preceded in death by both parents and his sister Denise Bristol.

He is survived by a son, Kenneth M. (Saja) Hawkins, brother, Charles M. (Grace) Hawkins and a sister Verneta D. (John) Martin, grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Thursday, November 5, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Williams, Gregory & Martin Funeral Service, 411 N. 7th Street with Rev. Norries Hood, officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 4, 2009, 6-8 p.m. at funeral home.
