FOLLANSBEE — Candice Jill Birmingham and Jason Allen Morris were united in marriage at 3 p.m. July 18 at the Open Door Baptist Church in Colliers with the Rev. Larry Garrison officiating.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her father, Joe Birmingham of Follansbee. Her mother and stepfather are Mena and Phil Johnson of Colliers.
The bride wore a white-over-gold satin gown.
The groom is the son of Russell and MaryKay Morris of Wellsburg.
Melissa Miller, cousin of the bride, served as maid of honor. The bridesmaids included Tracy Birmingham, sister-in-law of the bride; Tiffany Beaver; Stacy Caruso, cousin of the bride; Natasha Morris, sister of the groom; Alexis Keller; Megan John; Alexis Whitehead; and junior bridesmaid Courtney Dupke, cousin of the bride.
Donny Birmingham, brother of the bride, served as best man. Ushers included Phil Martin; David Southall; Jonathan Ichey; Joseph Caruso, cousin of the bride; Ryan Brown; Roger Batliff; and Joe Birmingham, brother of the bride.
Haley Birmingham, niece of the bride, served as flower girl, and Trent Ferrelli, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.
Following a reception at the American Serbian Cultural Center, the newlyweds vacationed in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
The bride received an associate degree in specialized business/paralegal and is employed at C.H.A.N.G.E. Inc. as a receptionist in the call center for Family Medical Care and Women’s Health Center.
The groom is employed at N-Powell, a construction company in Weirton.
They reside on Hooverson Heights in Follansbee.
