Mr. and Mrs. Fred Huyghe

HAMMONDSVILLE — Sondra and Fred Huyghe celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 3 at the Brush Creek Grange Hall with a reception for family and friends hosted by the couple’s children. They also vacationed in Branson, Mo.
They were married Oct. 3, 1959, at Grant Hill United Presbyterian Church with the Rev. James McCollam officiating.
She is the daughter of the late John and Shirley Dallas and is a homemaker.
He is the son of the late Eugene and Margaret Huyghe. He retired from Delphi in Warren when the couple lived in Vienna, Ohio. They live on and operate the John Dallas family farm in Hammondsville.
They have four children: Denise Verner and Leanne Lee of Girard, Rachel Black of Hammondsville and Steve of Silver Lake. There are six grandchildren.
