Thanksiving meal held by Sunrise Seniors

TORONTO — A Thanksgiving dinner was held for 64 members of the Toronto Sunrise Seniors at a recent meeting. The 50/50 drawing was won by Joyce Gribben. The bus for the Dec. 1 Rockettes Christmas Show will leave at 3:30 p.m. from the Cornerstone Church lot. A Christmas dinner and social will be held Dec. 11 with the social hour is 5 p.m. and dinner at 6 p.m. Anyone who hasn’t made a reservation can call Mary Lou Deku at (740) 537-2659 to sign up. Thank you notes were read from the Kay Irwin family, Paul Parker and Sandy Smith. Bingo and cards were played after the meeting. Winners were, Bob Meredith, Jim Wilson, Mike Timko, Joan Nance, Evelyn Woodland, Wade Steele, Dolores Giaceffa, Jay Smith, Eileen Cernansky, Kitty Roth, Betty Mossor, Joyce Gribben and Tim Gribben.
