Barbara T. Froehlich

FROEHLICH, Barbara T., 80, of Wintersville, Ohio, died Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009, in Valley Hospice North.

She was born June 27, 1929, in Pittsburgh, Pa., a daughter of the late Alfred B. and Barbara Raab Dieterle.

She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and had worked at Catholic Central High School cafeteria from 1977-88 and Froehlich's Classic Corner.

Preceding Barbara in death were her husband, Francis O. Froehlich, whom she married on April 22, 1950 and he died on April 10, 1993; son, Timothy; granddaughter, Jessica Marie Froehlich; one sister and two brothers.

Barbara is survived by her children, Susan (Carl) Arlotta of Steubenville, Gregory (Debbie) Froehlich of Wintersville, Matthew (Susie) Froehlich of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Laura Froehlich of Wintersville and Patricia (Chuck) Hammerle of Columbus, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Donald and Robert Dieterle both of Pittsburgh.

Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home in Wintersville on Tuesday 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral liturgy with mass 11 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Lourdes with Msgr. Kurt Kemo officiating.

Committal services 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Assumption Cemetery, Barnesville, Ohio

Vigil services 4:45 p.m. Tuesday.
