Antonio Meucci Lodge plans Christmas party

WEIRTON - Members of Antonio Meucci Lodge 2506 made plans for its Christmas party, donated to Toys or Tots and heard 2010 tour plans at its November meeting held at Undo's in the Holiday Inn with Anthony LaRosa, vice president, presiding.

The party will be held Dec. 10 at 6 p.m. at Undo's with Rick Pastre of Smithfield providing entertainment. Members will bring desserts. Regina Truax is party chairman.

Upcoming tours arranged by Truax include:

• March 7, "Shall We Dance," Lincoln Park, 2 p.m. matinee, includes show, dinner and bus, $95.

• March 15, Rivers Casino, $25.

• April 19, Atlantic City Balley's, $289.

Rita Orler distributed cards to be sent to area servicemen and servicewomen serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, thanking them for their service. The project is sponsored by AARP.

Reports were given by Jeanette LaRosa, Truax and Carol Valenti. A thank-you letter from Cooley's Anemia Foundation for the lodge donation was read.

Bingo was played.
