Richard BrillDecember 3, 2009BRILL, Richard "Rick", 59, of Raleigh, N.C., formerly of Weirton, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2009, at his sister's residence in New Cumberland, W.Va. Born June 8, 1950 in Steubenville, Ohio, he was a son of Matilda Billcheck Larch of Weirton and the late William Larch, Sr. who died in January 14, 1999. Rick served his country during the VietNam War with the United States Army. After working 19 years for Weirton Steel, Rick moved to North Carolina, where he was currently working security for the State of North Carolina at the State Capitol Building in Raleigh, N.C. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Jackie Brill; brothers, William Larch, Jr. and Mike Larch and his wife, Debbie all of Weirton; sister, Karen (Larch) Wansack and her husband, Mark of New Cumberland and nieces and nephews, Michaelene and William Larch and George, John, Matthew and Mary Wansack. Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton where Parastas funeral services will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Father Ed Lucas will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church Building Fund, 3116 Elm Street, Weirton, WV 26062.
