Joan Gregor

GREGOR, Joan, 75, of Bear Rd. Amsterdam, a proud and loving wife, mother, and grandmother, died Tuesday aftenoon in the pallative care unit of Valley Hospice in Steubenville following an extended illness.

Born November 3, 1934, in the villiage of Palermo in Carroll County, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Opal Preston Moreland.

Joan is survived by her husband, Leonard whom she married Oct. 23,1954; three daughters, Elaine Rutledge of Bergholz, Janis (Joe) Christie of Al1en,Texas, Lori ( Shane) Statler of New Philadelphia; five grandchildren, Emilee Rutledge, Preston Smith, Dylan Statler, Cameron Christie and Nathan Christie; one sister, Carol (Fritz) Milligan of Westerville, Ohio; one brother, Art Moreland of Dellroy.

Preceded in death by son-in-law Mark Rutledge and one brother Pete Moreland.

At Joan's request, private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
