Marshall student job shadows in WeirtonDecember 4, 2009 - By ANGELINA DICKSON, Staff writerPhil DiLorenzo returned to the local area to shadow a local businessman for the day before graduating with a bachelor's degree from the Lewis College of Business at Marshall University. Ward 5 Councilman and local businessman George Kondik received an opportunity to allow the future Marshall University graduate to see what goes on in the daily happenings in the field of business management and business management operations systems; DiLorenzo's field of study. DiLorenzo, a Brooke High School graduate, said he will be graduating from Marshall University in May 2010 and appreciated the opportunity to be able to shadow Kondik. He said it is his plan to come back to Weirton, with the hope of finding an opportunity to provide service, hard work and dedication to the area in which he lives. "The Brooke High business program prepared me well for my college years in the Lewis College of Business at Marshall University," he said. "I'm proud to be able to come back to this area and work in the community."
