FOLLANSBEE - Drs. Matthew W. and Melissa M. Bullock were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Oct. 17 at the Fairfield Presbyterian Church in Fairton, N.J., with the Rev. Michael Schuelke officiating.
The bride is the daughter of William and Donna McLean of Fairton, and the groom is the son of Geary and Bonnie Bullock of Follansbee.
Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore her mother's gown and veil.
The bride's sister, Heather Abdelghafour of Charlotte, N.C., was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Amy Bullock, sister of the groom; Dr. Kelly Tanceusz of Michigan; and Sarah Wilbur of New Jersey.
The best men were Geary Bullock, the groom's father; and Daniel Bullock of New York City, the groom's brother. Ushers were John Potters of Erie, Pa.; Nathan Martino of Washington, D.C.; and Dr. James Perry of Huntington, W.Va.
Sarah Abdelghafour and Ivy McLean, nieces of the bride, were the flower girls.
Following a reception at the Savoy Inn in Vineland, N.J., the couple honeymooned in the Dominican Republic.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Cumberland Christian High School and a 2006 graduate of Bridgewater College of Virginia, where she earned a bachelor's degree in biology. She earned a doctorate degree in osteopathy from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and is to begin here residency in internal medicine at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.
The groom is a 1998 graduate of Brooke High School. He graduated from West Virginia University with a bachelor's degree in human performance and health, and also earned a master's degree in physical therapy. He earned his doctorate degree in osteopathy from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. He is in his second year of residency in orthopedic surgery at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.
The couple reside in Perrysburg.
