LOUDONVILLE, Ohio (AP) — Ohio parks officials say the state will spend $5 million to build a new nature center and fix-up Mohican State Park near Mansfield.
Plans also call for sprucing up the park's campground and lodge.
The state says it will renovate all 25 cottages at the park and the campground pool. It also plans to add a splash pad and build new restrooms.
The state this year is putting $88.5 million into capital improvements at parks around the state.
Ohio officials say that's more than four times larger than average.
