STEUBENVILLE - Tessa Morgan and Christopher Sweeney were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. July 24 at Holy Family Catholic Church with Monsignor Gerald Calovini officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Charlie and Kim Morgan of Wintersville. The groom is the son of Paul and Tammy Sweeney of Steubenville.
Escorted to the altar by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a beaded ivory lace trumpet gown with a chapel train. She carried a bouquet of deep red roses.

Betsy Morgan, sister-in-law of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Elisabeth Herron, cousin of the bride, and Jamie Gullen. Paul Sweeney II, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Jonathan Sweeney, brother of the groom, and Adam and Will Morgan, brothers of the bride.
Following a reception at the Serbian-American Cultural Center in Weirton, the couple honeymooned at the Riviera-Maya, Mexico.
The bride is a graduate of Ohio State University with a master's degree in middle childhood education.
She is employed by the South-Western City School District teaching language arts and social studies.
The groom is a graduate of OSU with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. He is employed as a mechanical engineer for ArcelorMittal Columbus. They reside in Columbus.
