WEIRTON - Wendy McDaniel of Weirton announces the engagement of her daughter, Leah Jean Scherich, to Trenton Alan Ging, son of Richard and Holly Ging of Shadyside, Ohio.
The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Brooke High School and a 2009 graduate of West Liberty University with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
Her fiance is a 2001 graduate of Shadyside High School and received a bachelor's degree from WLU in 2006.
A wedding is planned Saturday.
