WINTERSVILLE - Mr. and Mrs. John D. Keyser of Wintersville will celebrate their 65th anniversary on July 20.
Keyser and the former Norma L. Taylor were united in marriage on July 20, 1946, by the Rev. Sheltz at the home of Keyser's parents.
He is the son of the late David and Elizabeth Keyser who worked as foreman at Weirton Steel for 32 years before his retirement.
She is the daughter of the late James and Mary Taylor who has operated Keyser's Silk Florist since 1982.
They have four sons: John David of Richmond, Wendell of Toronto, Sam of Bloomingdale and Gary of Wintersville. There are 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A family celebration is being planned for a later date.
