ZANESVILLE -Cathy Maylee White of Zanesville and David Albert White of Myrtle Beach, S.C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Essie Victoria White, to Timothy Russell Van Pelt Jr., son of Timothy and Judith Van Pelt of Fairview, W.Va.
The bride-to-be graduated from Weir High School in 2007 and is a small business owner, contracted with an oil and gas exploration company.
Her fiance graduated from North Marion High School in 2006. After attending Marshall College, he pursued a career in criminal justice and is an applicant for the West Virginia State Troopers. He is a guard at a professional security company.
