Bootstraps seminar canceled
The Project Boostraps seminar that had been scheduled for Feb. 1 has been canceled due to scheduling difficulties, organizers say.
The seminar, offered twice a year, is intended to bring some of the area's most successful entrepreneurs together with those who are interested in starting their own business.
Organizers say the series will resume in the fall.
Presented by the Students in Free Enterprise chapter at the Franciscan University of Steubenville, Bootstraps is designed to inspire area residents to open their own business. Joining with SIFE to sponsor Bootstraps are the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce, Progress Alliance, the Community Foundation of Jefferson County, the Herald-Star and Valley Ventures Inc.
