STEUBENVILLE - Triumph of the Cross Church in Steubenville was the setting for the Dec. 3 wedding that united Mary Stock and David Growden in marriage. The 1 p.m. ceremony was celebrated by the Rev. Thomas Nau.
Escorted to the altar and given in marriage by her uncle, Joseph Talamonti of Richmond, she carried a bouquet of white roses, one single peach carnation in memory of her late mother, pine, and holiday ornaments all tied with a silver ribbon.
The groom is the son of Donald and Shirl Growden of McDonald, Pa.

Tara Burkhart of Coraopolis, Pa., served as the maid of honor. Samantha Growden of McDonald and Cassidy Talamonti of Flushing, Ohio, were the bridesmaids.
Derek Mink of Coraopolis was the best man. Ushers were Anthony Talamonti of Toronto and Joseph Talamonti of Flushing.
Sophia and Cora Talamonti of Flushing, cousins of the bride, were the flower girls.
Christopher Higgins of Oakdale, Pa., cousin of the groom, was the ring bearer.
The bride is a graduate of Catholic Central High School and Strayer University with a bachelor's degree in human resource management and is employed at Thermo Fisher Scientific.
The groom is a graduate of Canon McMillan High School and Pittsburgh Technical Institute with an associate degree in marketing and sales.
They reside in Steubenville.
