CERTIFIED: Dan Diamond, principal agent of Diamond Insurance in Steubenville, recently achieved On Your Side Certification from Nationwide Mutual Insurance.

To be certified, agents must commit to stringent customer service training and standards and be open to extended hours.

"In today's economy, it's more important than ever to take time and review your current insurance needs," Diamond said. "By getting to know you and your situation, a good insurance agent can not only make sure that you are properly protected should something bad happen, but they can also make sure that you're not paying more than you need to be."

Diamond has scheduled an open house from 9 a.m. to noon at Diamond Insurance, 2506B Sunset Blvd., Steubenville.

MEET: The Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers will meet March 7 at the Wheeling Park White Palace, 1801 National Road, Wheeling.
