We're not hearing too much about Trayvon Martin, anymore. Remember him? The poor little, angel-faced black kid in Florida, tragically shot down in cold blood by a hateful, racist white guy?
But wait! That's not what happened, is it?
No, it isn't, no matter how hard the liberal mainstream media try to crowbar it into their biased template.
Trayvon Martin was no kid, no matter how often they run those five-years-outdated pictures. He was 6-foot-1, about 160 lbs.; taller than George Zimmerman, if not heavier.
The reason we're not hearing much about it anymore, is because as facts emerge, it's found that Zimmerman's story is upheld.
Zimmerman, went from being "a white guy" in the initial news reports, probably due to his lily-white name, to being a "white Hispanic," to being a "white man of Hispanic background." Quite a transformation and quite a feat of verbal and factual acrobatics for the news people.
The autopsy revealed that Martin's fingers and knuckles were bruised, verifying that he had, in fact, attacked Zimmerman. Also, official photos finally surfaced, of Zimmerman's extensive head injuries.
Marijuana was indeed found in Martin's blood and urine, vindicating Zimmerman's suspicions that "he looks high."
Lastly, the "smoking gun," so to speak; the fatal gunshot wound, indeed inflicted by Zimmerman, came from between "one and 18 inches," confirming Zimmerman's testimony.
Shamefully, NBC edited the audio of Zimmerman's 911 call; the operator asked the race of the suspicious person, and Zimmerman responded "he looks black." NBC edited out the operator's question, however, purposely making Zimmerman sound racist.
There's no more witches brew to be stirred, here, so the brazen opportunists Jackson and Sharpton - quick to pump an outraged fist for the cameras, decrying violent, racist America - have oozed away, seeking another faux-racist incident they can exaggerate and exploit. Or even fabricate altogether, in Sharpton's case.
There's no more hay to be made on the Martin situation, so the twin sleazeballs have moved on, seeking greener pastures. Green, coincidentally, being the color of money.
The New Black Panthers, as well, have quieted their shrill calls for race war and the extermination of whites, trudging on back to indoctrinating young blacks in the hateful ways of Cultural Marxism and reverse racism. Their big payday is coming in November, when once again, they'll take to the urban polling precincts, loitering menacingly, attempting to intimidate voters into voting for Obama, or not voting at all.
Yet, it's the Republicans and whites who, somehow, are "disenfranchising" black voters. At least, that's what U.S. Attorney General Eric "What Guns?" Holder says.
The Martin incident was nothing more than a sad tragedy, which the liberal media exploited and manipulated, deliberately mining its potential racism. In so doing, they unashamedly vilified George Zimmerman, destroying his life. That they tried so valiantly to make it so much more, so much worse, than it was, is even more tragic. And telling.
Is it any wonder that more and more people find reason to distrust the mainstream, liberal media?
