Community preparing for Stars and Stripes

June 30, 2012
From staff reports , Weirton Daily Times

STEUBENVILLE - Preparations have begun for Sunday's Stars and Stripes concert featuring the Joe Zelek Band and the Clarks at Harding Stadium.

Festival chairperson Tricia Maple on Friday morning assisted others in picking up the fence to be used for the beer garden located in Krogers parking lot. The construction of the stage, as well as setting up chairs and other amenities will continue throughout the weekend leading up to the show.

While the stage is set to be smaller this year due to the new turf at the stadium, the sounds are expected to rock just as loud.
