SANDONAS, Angela, 84, of Wintersville, fell asleep on Saturday, June 30, 2012, at Lifeline Hospital.
She was born Dec. 8, 1927, in Wellsburg, a daughter of the late Charles and Mary Kavanas Rangos. She was also preceded in death by brothers, George and Raymond and a sister, Ada.
Angela married her beloved husband, George Sandonas on Jan. 7, 1951, and they were blessed to celebrate their 6lst anniversary this past January.

She was a member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church; a member of the Holy Trinity Philoptochos Society, Holy Trinity Senior Citizens, and a charter member of the Daughters of Penelope.
She is survived in addition to her husband by her, daughter, Alex (Dick) Tressler, and her sons, Gus (Mary) and John (Diane). Her grandchildren, John, Dean, Hope, and Alexia, sisters Frances Montalbano, Stacey Bowman, Antoinette Shutak and brother, Charles (Erma) Rangos and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Monday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville and on Tuesday at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 300 S. Fourth St. from 10 am until the time of services at 11 am, Fr. Nicholas Halkios. Entombment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. There will be a Trisagion service Monday at 7:30 pm.
