WEIRTON - The Rotary Club of Weirton welcomed new club president Mike Gianni and recognized several individuals as Paul Harris Fellows during its recent meeting.
Gianni discussed several items of interest as the club plans activities for the coming year. He said he would like to continue to have monthly board meetings to make sure each member is on the same page. He said there are several events, including Oktoberfest and a project at the Weirton Event Center, that are on the agenda and need to be considered.
"I believe we are going to be working with the Weirton Event Center to do some landscaping as a community project," said Gianni.
