WEIRTON - The Weirton Area Water Board announced the boil order put into effect for the Marland Heights section of the city of Weirton has been lifted.
The order was officially lifted at 10:30 a.m. today.
Residents in the Marland Heights section of the city may resume using their water without any restrictions or requirements to boil their water.
The boil order had been put into effect as a result of a line break on Bright Way earlier in the week.
